HOW IT ALL BEGAN
We are two retired ladies, Glenys & Jo, who were living in the inner city of Brisbane, Queensland, in a three story house on a very small block of land. After travelling overseas extensively, we decided on a Sea Change & bought a house on a few acres of land at Elimbah, 50 klms. north of Brisbane.
What a wonderful change, we successfully bred different breeds of chickens for several years, having bred many Champions, we then decided it was time for a new project, it didn’t take us long to find the perfect one – the fascinating world of the Coturnix {Jap} Jumbo Quail. They are delightful little creatures & so easy to care for. We have now ceased breeding chickens & concentrating on developing a larger Jumbo Quail.
